Reaching Taj Santacruz
Conveniently placed right by the airport, Taj, Santacruz (Mumbai) hotel is one of the best choices for travellers for a quick or prolonged stay. It is a mere 10 mins from the international airport and 2 mins from the domestic airport. It is located between two busy hubs of Andheri and Bandra, making it not only business accessible but also one of the best places for tourists.

Ambiance:
The fusion between palatial and art deco design left us speechless. Our junior suite had a spectacular view of the airport runway which left us mesmerized. The hotel also offers rooms and suites with a view of the majestic pool as well as the ever-glistening city.

Hospitality:
We were welcomed with a garland of flowers and quite the enthusiastic greeting. One of the staff members was kind enough to understand my liking for eating healthy and arranged for a special basket full of healthy goodies.

Amenities:
As for the amenities, Taj has a fantastic pool and a fitness centre with the best of equipment and an area overlooking the pool for private yoga sessions. Our relaxation at The Jiva Spa began from the moment they served us hot tea and helped us choose our treatment from the wide variety they offered. The spa relaxed every muscle in our body and was a truly rejuvenating experience. For guests with private vehicle, they do offer free parking and also have car hire services.

Food:
Taj left no stone unturned when it came to food. We began our stay with a grand lunch at China INC which was the best choice for authentic Chinese even for someone who isn’t fond of the cuisine. The highlight of our meal was definitely the jasmine tea tiramisu which literally melted in our mouths.

Taj Club Lounge
The hotel had yet another restaurant-
Tiqri, with an all-day buffet while the Taj Club lounge offers high tea around 5 pm which definitely lived up to its name. Check with the hotel if you can access the lounge, the access depends on the room type you pick.

Rivea:
We ended our day at
Rivea with some freshly made Pan pizzas, Mushroom soup (which was finger licking good for some who HATES mushrooms too!) and some pesto pasta. We were too keen on trying the dessert but the dinner was so filling that we had to give it a skip.

Overall Experience:
We were saddened by the fact that we had to leave this paradise of serenity but were grateful for having experienced every bit of it. Taj Santacruz is recommended for anybody looking to have not just a stay but a journey through luxury.
